Across the country it’s back to school, whilst at Purity, its business as usual. 2016 has been a whirlwind of a year so far for everyone associated with the business. We’ve created, delivered and supported projects across four continents and had a blast…. And there’s still over 3 months of the year left! Here is just a snapshot of what we’ve been up to.
Earlier this year Purity were called upon by clients Cheil Worldwide and Jack Morton Worldwide to support on their activation plans at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Having been so heavily involved in the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay and the Games which followed, we were delighted to be asked. Purity has supplied an extensive team of some 200 staff in a variety of roles to work at both the Olympic and Paralympic Games. A team of 25 staff from the UK were flown out to live and work in Rio and lead an even bigger team that we recruited with the support of our local partner agency on the ground. It really has been a once in a lifetime experience for everyone involved (Read the blog by Purity MD, Rob Quinn, who visited last month – http://wearepurity.com/2016/08/rio-de-janeiro-a-city-of-wonder/)
Purity has worked with chocolate brand Green & Black’s for the past two years. Once again this summer the Taste Tour has toured the length and breadth of the UK delivering fantastic recipes to people up and down the country. The Green & Black’s van, now affectionately named ‘Coco’ has been busy at both Tesco and Sainsbury stores as well as attending key summer events including the Battle Proms at Blenheim Palace and Hatfield House. New for this year was the brand attending the Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire. Over four days, Green & Black’s ran chocolate masterclasses giving the festival-goers a truly sweet treat and chance to learn just how best to use the brand in some delicious recipes.
Purity were briefed by agency client Havas Sports & Entertainment Cake to deliver a huge sampling campaign for brand Weetabix On The Go at both the V Festivals in Essex and Staffordshire in addition to the Reading festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend. Across the three festival sites the small army of Purity Staffing brand Ambassadors delivered just shy of 300,000 samples to festival-goers who readily accepted the samples at their tents first thing each morning and across sampling sites with added data capture aspects giving the chance for ultimate festival VIP rewards.
What a first summer event season it’s been for the Purity Staffing team working on the BMW / MINI account. The events have been nothing short of spectacular starting with the BMW PGA at Wentworth and onto the Goodwood Festival of Speed, arguably the biggest automotive show in the world (certainly of its kind anyway). In between our lucky staff have had the opportunity to work at events across the country including the Scottish Open, British Touring Car Championships, BMW Track Days, the Formula E in London, BMW Centenary Celebrations and they’ve got Salon Privé, the Goodwood Revival and Frieze Art Fair just around the corner.
