Is it too early to start the countdown to Christmas? At Purity HQ, we’re certainly looking forward to the festive season. That’s not to say things are slowing down from the summer period. We continue to deliver projects across Europe, the UAE and the USA as our international capabilities go from strength to strength. Following our work at Rugby World Cup in 2015 and campaigns at the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, our work activating brands in the sports arena continues to expand.
Purity News – Senior Management Changes
Earlier this month we announced changes at Purity both in terms of senior management moves and new recruits. Having established the business nine years ago, Rob Quinn moves to CEO with a focus on the agency’s strategic vision and growth both in the UK and overseas. Current Client Services Director, Mark Dunn moves to Managing Partner and will take on the day-to-day running of the agency. We are also delighted to announce that Bailey Hill joins the company as Staffing Director. Bailey brings a wealth of experience from across the industry to the team. Having joined Purity earlier in the summer, Bailey has already spent time working closely with the BMW MINI team as well as overseeing the Olympic project in Brazil. Also now on board are Carrie Watson, as Staffing Account Manager, and Melissa Hannan as Account Executive. Carrie has worked at experiential agencies Sense and iD and is a great addition to the Purity Staffing team. Melissa graduated in Event Management from Sheffield Hallam University. Having joined for an initial three month period, Melissa worked on campaigns for Alpen, Green & Blacks and UNiDAYS and now stays with us on a permanent basis. Purity Campaigns – The Happiest 5k On The Planet
The Color Run is an event for those who enjoy the lighter side of life. It’s billed as the “happiest 5k on the planet” and having seen races up and down the UK with Alpen Granola we can certainly vouch for that. Briefed by clients Havas SE Cake and Alpen, Purity managed the Alpen ‘Start Colourful’ project at the six races stretching from Glasgow down to Brighton. At each event the Purity team managed the build and break of the sampling rig and delivered samples of Alpen Granola to race-goers. Agency NooNah were on hand to deliver a unique 360 photo experience giving race participants the chance to capture a fantastic memory of their day at the race. Commenting for Purity, Event Manager Dan Blacker said, “This has been the most fun campaign I have ever worked on. Every single person coming to the races is here for a great time. They absolutely throw themselves into the spirit of the event and they go home covered head to toe in paint, as do the whole Purity team… but it’s worth it”. Escape – Beyond Sahara
Our friends at The Tempest Two are never ones to rest on their laurels for too long. Not content with rowing the Atlantic last year and then kayaking their way through Sweden, earlier this month they casually climbed Mont Blanc, as you do! The pair, James Whittle and former Purity team member, Tom Caulfield are currently in the States meeting with top brands discussing how they can support brands with culture, motivation and marketing strategies. Next on their hit list will be the Beyond Sahara Festival that we’ve taken a good look at and think it’s well worth sharing. Quite simply explained Beyond Sahara is an experience where adventure meets music. In March 2017, there are 500 spaces available to experience something truly unique. The Tempest Two are developing partnerships opportunity so if you feel you’d either like to take yourself on a quite remarkable journey or feel your brand would be well placed to partner with a festival like this visit http://www.thetempesttwo.com/ and speak to the guys.
