Brands across the board are ramping up their marketing efforts for the Christmas period and at Purity HQ we’re working hard to support clients across the UK & Europe with in-store activations, experiential work in shopping malls and out and about in city centres and sporting events (see below). We’re also readying ourselves for some festive cheer and are looking forward to December and all that it brings.
Under starters orders with Stan James
Purity are delighted to have recently been appointed by Stan James to activate their sponsorship of “The Road to Cheltenham”, a series of race meetings that take place across the country leading up to the world-famous Cheltenham Festival in March 2017. The Stan James team have already visited Wincanton and Cheltenham with more to come in the New Year. Our Stan James team are inviting punters to become a Cheltenham superstar on the horse racing simulators at each Road to Cheltenham meeting with the aim of being crowned “Stan James’ Champion Jockey”. Competition has been fierce as members of the public compete to win tickets to the Cheltenham Festival. Supported by social media the campaign is fast becoming something that race-goers are looking at for at the meetings.
Purity Campaigns – Working across Europe
The Purity Staffing team are currently supporting agency client Wasserman Experience on a pan-European project with Bombay Sapphire called The Grand Journey. The immersive drinking and tasting experience created by Wasserman Experience launched in Antwerp last month and has already visited London and Berlin and is currently live in Spain (Barcelona and Madrid), before finishing the tour in Amsterdam in December. Guests are treated to a fusion of art, culture and flavours whilst experiencing the different locations around the world behind Bombay Sapphire’s ten vapour-infused botanicals. Using our established international network of affiliate agencies, Purity are providing staff to each of the markets to welcome guests and guide them through this amazing experience.
Technology News – Event Tech Live 2016
Event Tech Live is Europe’s first dedicated exhibition and conference for event professionals with an interest in technology. Now its third year, the exhibitions took place earlier this month at the Old Truman Brewery, London. The show delivers creative live tech demos, immersive educational content and expert Q&A sessions in an exciting and unique format. With new innovations in technology and opportunities for use across our sector emerging at tremendous rate, this show is vital for the industry. In addition to the 65 companies exhibiting, sessions during the day included enhancing event performance through ROI insights, maximising event engagement through social media to gamification and personalisation. Keynote speakers were drawn across the industry including SXSW, George P Johnson and Eventbase. We’re sure that the show is here to stay and is worth looking out for in Autumn 2017 http://www.eventtechlive.com/
Escape – See the lights in Finland
The Kakslauttanen Igloo Hotel in Finland is nothing short of magical. Given the time of year, with Christmas round the corner, this feels that the type of place that we had to share – it really is the definition of ‘escape’. Let us set the scene and indulge you for a moment… imagine spending the night in a warm and cosy glass igloo where you can lie on your reclining bed and look through the thermal igloo glass as you wait for a glimpse of the magical Northern Lights. Also imagine log cabins dotted around the forest. Snow covered trees glisten. You step into your cabin where you can smell the roaring log fire and hear the crackle of the wood. After a daytime activity of a husky sledge safari you come back to enjoy the private sauna in your cabin. After dinner you have a reindeer safari to look for the Northern Lights, the reindeer are slow and steady through the forest as you cosy up underneath the blankets and glance to the sky looking for the magical aurora. All in all, we love everything about this unique resort, if that’s the right word for it. There are some fantastic packages available to Kakslauttanen so when you have 10 minutes take a look at http://www.kakslauttanen.fi and see for yourself what this place has to offer.
