Creating Insta-Worthy Moments
Celebrating 10 years since the launch of the first Galaxy S mobile device, Samsung supported the launch of the Samsung S10 in a new format, moving away from previous pop-up activities to an immersive experience within a larger, retail store environment.
The new Premium Galaxy Studio was the most experiential platform Samsung had created to date. It aimed to create an aspirational experience with carefully curated experiences and localised content with a touch of new generation inspiration to create ‘insta-worthy’ moments.
Following on from a successful 2018 Galaxy Studio Purity were awarded the staffing and operations management contract for the 2019 Premium Galaxy Studio, by agency client Cheil, located at Westfield Shepherds Bush.
Purity recruited a pool of 75 technically enthused staff and hosted a 2-day workshop style training session. The days were facilitated by Purity’s elite Samsung Avengers Team with support from Samsung Product Trainers. Together they steered the staff through an in-depth consumer journey programme, product training and motivational engagement pieces which included our Purity Customer Experience Programme.
Doors opened on Friday 29th March and the team welcomed customers to the Samsung Studio. Upon visiting the experience, a customer would be invited to experience an S10+ using the Samsung ‘Buddy App’, which allowed them to tour the Studio.
The Samsung Galaxy crew were on hand to showcase key features within the Studio’s designated experience zones. Alongside the experience, the team provided opportunities to win branded merchandise.
In addition to the onsite experiences, the Studio ran 3 daily workshops hosted and managed by the Galaxy crew who also assisted with influencer masterclasses in beauty, lifestyle, music and photography.
The Samsung Premium Galaxy Studio London 2019 received over 38,000 consumers over the 6-week period and proved to be a huge success with the new concept now rolling out internationally.
The Galaxy crew were integral to the experience and were able to engage with visitors with warmth and creativity within a comfortable environment.
Purity provided onsite operational support, including product management during the 39 live days at Westfield Shepherds Bush.
